The main objective of UsratulAisha Department is to provide necessary tools, skills and opportunities for the tarbiyah of its members. UA department makes use of the following tools, meetings and classes to achieve this purpose.
Classes:
There are three types of classes that UA organizes for the tarbiyah of our members:
1. Fehm-ul-Quran Class: The purpose of these classes is to improve the understanding of Quran and put it into practice through activism.
2. Membership Classes: These classes are organized to give a better understanding of the vision of Islam to our members through discussion on selected books.
3. Literature Classes: These classes provide a forum for learning through healthy discussion on books covering a variety of topics. The syllabus is specially designed to focus on the priorities of muslim ummah in modern times.
Buddy System:
This is a tool of tarbiyah on one-on-one basis. It promotes the ukhuwwah and stregthening the bond of sisterhood between members.
Report System:
This system is based on the concept of muhasiba (self assessment). All members are required to fill a report form about their schedule of worship and dawah work. This system promotes the idea of evaluation of our work for improvement in future.
Leadership Training Courses
LTC is geared towards practically teaching the leaders among our members to improve their leadership skills. The sources used for these courses are Quran, Sunnah and modern management skills.
Tarbiyah Seminar:
This seminar is arranged once a year on National level. Under the guidance of UA tarbiyah department, all cities organize their seminars locally as well.
Meetings:
UA tarbiyah department also organizes meetings for different organizational purposes. All cities conduct their members meetings and shura meetings on the guidelines provided by UA.
Syllabus&Circulars:
UA provides syllabus for three months containing practical points for ones tarbiyah. The circulars are issued on special occasions like Ramadan or for improving the understanding on a specific topic.
